Before you sail

What to bring and how to arrive

  • Warm clothes, a hat, binoculars

Bring warm clothes even in summer, a hat and binoculars.

  • A hat on Inner Farne

On Inner Farne a hat comes in handy: the terns like to peck at heads. A soft hat or a sun hat works best.

  • National Trust landing ticket

Going to Inner Farne? Get your landing ticket from the National Trust kiosk in the harbour before you board.

  • Dogs on board

You can bring your dog on a trip without a landing.

Accessibility

  • You board the boat by steps, and we are happy to help you.
  • Do you use a wheelchair? Please call us in advance.
  • You are welcome to bring a folding pushchair.
